    Before the Procedure

    When you arrive for your interventional radiography appointment, the healthcare team will guide you through everything.

    You might need to change into a gown and remove any jewellery or metal objects.

    They’ll ensure you’re comfortable and ready for the procedure.

    During the Procedure

    You’ll lie down on a table, and the radiologist will position you for the procedure.

    • They’ll use real-time imaging, like X-rays or other advanced techniques, to guide the doctor.
    • A tiny tube called a catheter may be inserted into your body to deliver treatments or take samples.

    After the Procedure
